Obituary's Biography:
Anton Vanderpas. 91, a long time resident of Grayslake, passed away Monday, January 27, 2020 at Winchester House in Libertyville, IL. He was born November 24, 1928 in the Netherlands to Hendrikus and Lamberdina Vanderpas. Anton was a member of St. Gilbert Catholic Church and Choir for over 40 years. He was a landscaper and enjoyed the outdoors but what he loved most was his children and grandchildren . Anton is survived his children Bill Vanderpas, Mary Radzik, Jeanette (Cliff) Plencner, Debbie (Steve) Brzezinski, and Paul (Karen) Vanderpas, his grandchildren Ryan Radzik, Jenny (Eric) Prostka, Toni (Brad) Klein, Chris (Laura) Plencner, Jessica (Dave) Gould, Brittany Brzezinski, Scott (Danielle) Brzezinski, Jessica Seilheimer, Hallie Vanderpas, and Matthew Vanderpas, his great-grandchildren Caleb and Aubrey Prostka, Elle and Declan Klein, Callie Seilheimer, Carter and Madelyn Gould, and Evelyn and Lucas Plencner, his siblings Augustine, Henrita, Lamberdine, and Albert (Tonny) Vanderpas. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Antonia “Toni” Vanderpas; his son-in-law, Richard Radzik; and his siblings, Serena, Servatia, Chris and Jos Vanderpas. A visitation and funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030 with a funeral service commencing at 11:00am. Interment will immediately follow at Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Libertyville, IL.
