Anthony “Tony” J. Ciro III, a resident of Elmwood Park, IL passed away August 7, 2020 in Chicago, IL. He was born July 14, 1970 in Chicago, IL to Patricia and Anthony Ciro. Tony was a veteran having served with the US Navy. He enjoyed fishing and was a NASCAR fan. Tony is the loving son of Patricia (Jack) Roche and Anthony Ciro, the loving father of Angelica Klask, the loving grandfather of Kohen, Kale, and Lilly Looney, the loving brother of Trina Ciro, Michael Ciro, Tracy Wittenhall, and Annette Ciro. He is also survived by his step-sister Nicole Roche, his half-brothers Anthony, Joseph, and Chris Ciro, and his aunts and uncles Mike and Cathy Hopp, , Sandra Hoffman, Noreen Hopp, Sam Ciro, Darlene Ciro, and Wayne Ciro, his cousin Chris Heniff and many cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Beverly and Albert Hopp, his paternal grandparents Margaret and Anthony Ciro, and his uncle Richard Hoffman. All funeral arrangements were privately held and entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. Interment will be held at Fort Sheridan Cemetery in Highwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to help pay for funeral costs by going to Trina Ciro’s facebook page and donating. So sorry to hear about Tony. I have a lot of good memories of Tony and his family from my childhood. He was my Matchbox car buddy and we took many trips with Aunt Sandy and Uncle Rich. He was a good guy and I look forward to catching up on the other side.
