Nancy Elisabeth Anderson Alvin, 85, a resident of Grayslake, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016. She was born May 23, 1931. Nancy was a member of the United Protestant Church in Grayslake. Nancy is survived by her husband, Harold, whom she wed on September 30, 1950, her children Deb (Rob) Pihl of Granton, Ontario, Beth (Dave) Anderson of Loveland, CO, Dan (Terri) Alvin of Wadsworth, IL, and Jane (Al) School of Dekalb, IL, her grandchildren Marna, Elsa, Emelie, Carla, Lauren, Brian, and Lisa, and her great-grandchildren Liam, Nolan, Owen, Kai, Hannah, Brayden, Everett, Paxton, Corinne, and Lillian. A memorial visitation and service are scheduled for Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 10:00am until 12:00pm with a memorial service commencing at 12:00pm at United Protestant Church 54 S. Whitney St. Grayslake, IL 60030. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Memory Gardens in Mt. Prospect, IL. Memorials may be made in Nancy’s name to the United Protestant Church in Grayslake.
