I am so very sorry for your loss. Steve was a wonderful and good man. I can truly say he was one of the best and most caring District Managers I have had the pleasure of working with. Not only did Steve care deeply about the animals; he cared deeply about people. As the Animal Care Manager covering his District for the last year, I felt welcomed to his team immediately and knew he always valued the information I had to pass along. He was warm and funny, yet never failed to get his point across. I cannot imagine your sorrow at this time; however, I hope it gives you some comfort to know so many at Petco loved him too and we support you in your grief and share it. Keep all those good memories close, and Steve will never be far away.
My heart and prayers go out to Steves Family. I already feel the great loss of not having him around. He always answered his phone and lended an ear when I needed it.
