Obituary's Biography:

Laurdene B. Guy, 89, of Lindenhurst, IL, passed away on January 8, 2025. She was born on November 1, 1935 in Chicago to Francis and Marie Blume. Laurdene served as a Eucharist Minister and volunteered in caring for the elderly by cleaning and giving companionship.

Laurdene is survived by her sisters-in-law, Nancy and Carmen; her nieces and nephews, Bill, Liz, Robert, Frank, David, Celeste, John, Dawn, and Samantha; her 6 great nieces and nephews; and her dearest friend of 66 years, Dorothy Vogt.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Guy; and her 3 brothers.

A Visitation will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Monday, January 13, 2025 from 4pm until 8pm.  A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gilbert Catholic Church, 301 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 11am.
