Rosemarie Squillaci

Obituary's Biography:

Rosemarie Squillaci, 93, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away August 25, 2024 at Alto of Grayslake.  She was born July 23, 1931 in Chicago, IL to Angelo and Mary (nee: Saviano) Di Christofano.

Rosemarie is survived by her husband of 68 years, Dominic, whom she wed on October 2, 1955 in Chicago, IL, her children Grace Squillaci of Mundelein and Dominic (Sue) of Lake Villa, her grandchildren Leyna of Antioch, Justin (Angel) of Arvada, CO, and Jacob of Arizona, her one great-granddaughter Sofia, and her many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Esther.

A long-time parishioner of Our Lady of the Snows, Rosemarie volunteered for many years in the school library and was an active member of Council of Catholic Women.  She was a great cook who loved hosting family holidays.

A visitation and funeral mass are scheduled for Friday, August 30, 2024 at St. John of the Cross 5005 Wolf Road Western Springs, IL 60558 from 10:00am until 11:00am with the mass commencing at 11:00am.  The interment will follow the services at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
