Obituary's Biography:
Viktoria Golkosky, 69, a resident of Grayslake, IL passed away July 13, 2024 at Advocate Condell Hospital I Libertyville, IL. She was born November 12,1954 in Roznava Slovakia to Jan and Alzbeta (Tencova) Brostak.
Viki was kind, generous, patient, caring, giving, full of life and funny. She brightened up anY room she walked in. She loved children, especially her three grandchildren , Tunde, Reka and Mason, and she was passionate about teaching them both in Europe and here in the US. When she was younger, Viki loved to be in nature and enjoyed hiking and skiing. More recently, she loved talking with friends, listening to favorite songs, and spending time with family.
Viktoria is survived by her husband of 26 years, Joseph Golkosky, whom she wed on March 21, 1998, her children Eduard (Natalia) Breuer, and Lucia Breuer, her grandchildren Tunde Breuer, Reka Breuer, and Mason Breuer. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday July 17, 2024 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday July 18,2024 at 10:00 AM. All arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030.
